NESregistry homeNESregistry Privacy Policy
Prepared: 28 September 2026
Effective date: 28 September 2026
1. Who we are
NESregistry (National Enterprise Solutions Registry) connects people with expertise, ideas and problems, and coordinates expert engagements. This policy describes how we handle personal information through nesregistry.com and the NESR application.
The service is operated by NESR Infotech Pvt. Ltd., referred to in this policy as “NESR”, “we” or “us”. Its business address is Jawahar Colony, Chandanagar, Hyderabad - 500050, India. Contact support@nesregistry.com for privacy questions, complaints, corrections or account-deletion requests.
2. Information we collect
Depending on how you use NESR, we process:
- Account information: name, email address, account identifier, account status, and sign-in timestamps.
- Google sign-in information: your Google account identifier, verified email address and basic profile information made available through the identity, email and profile permissions. We use your name to initialize your NESR display name. We do not receive your Google password or request access to Gmail messages, Google Drive files, contacts or calendars.
- Expert profile information: professional headline, biography, location, timezone, languages, skills, tools, experience levels, work history, education, credentials, project examples, professional links, availability and working preferences that you choose to provide.
- Uploaded documents: your résumé, its filename and upload metadata, if you choose to upload one.
- Initiative and engagement information: problems, ideas, team invitations, proposed outcomes, expertise requirements, opportunity responses, scope and terms records, milestones, updates and concerns that you submit or participate in.
- Operational information: staff reviews, assignments, account-administration actions and audit records associated with your use of the service.
- Technical information: IP addresses and request, session, error and security information used to operate and protect the website.
- Correspondence: information you send to our support or privacy email address. Team invitations may include another person's name or email address; provide these only where you are authorized to do so.
Staff accounts also require password and authenticator-related security records. Do not include government identity numbers, bank details, health information or unrelated confidential information in profiles, résumés or initiative descriptions.
3. How we use information
We use information to authenticate accounts, maintain profiles, assess expertise, match capabilities to initiatives, coordinate introductions and engagements, display relevant updates, provide support, investigate concerns, prevent abuse and meet applicable legal obligations.
Matching uses information such as skills, experience and availability to help NESR staff identify potential contributors. A match or review label does not guarantee qualifications, work or an engagement. NESR staff coordinate engagement decisions; capability matching does not itself create a contract.
We use Google account information for sign-in, account identification and the related profile experience described above. We do not use it for advertising or sell it. The current pilot does not process payments in the application.
4. Who can access information
Authorized NESR staff may access information needed for their responsibilities, including profile review, case coordination, support and administration. Relevant information may be visible to participants in an initiative, team invitation or engagement according to their access permissions.
An expert profile's discovery setting controls its inclusion in NESR staff discovery; it does not mean the profile is published as an unrestricted public directory. Uploaded résumés are private documents with controlled staff access, rather than public download links.
We may use infrastructure and service providers to operate the service. Google provides member sign-in under its own policies. Our email provider processes correspondence sent to our privacy contact address. We may disclose information where required by applicable law or where necessary to investigate abuse, protect rights or resolve disputes. We do not sell personal information.
External websites, including social-media and portfolio links, operate under their own privacy policies when you visit them.
5. Cookies and similar technologies
NESR uses session and security cookies to keep you signed in and protect authentication and requests. Blocking these cookies may prevent sign-in or other essential functions. Google may use its own cookies during Google sign-in.
The application does not currently include advertising trackers. Any future nonessential analytics or tracking must be assessed and reflected in this notice, with consent where required.
6. Storage and security
We use access controls, staff multi-factor authentication and technical safeguards designed to protect information. No system can guarantee absolute security.
NESR’s primary application and database servers are hosted in Canada. Authorized staff working from India access information to operate the service and provide support. Backup storage is not yet configured; any future backup locations will be assessed and disclosed as appropriate. The initial pilot serves users in India; this does not mean all information is stored in India. Google and other relevant providers may process information in other countries under their own arrangements and applicable requirements.
7. How long we keep information
We retain information for the purposes described in this policy, subject to applicable legal requirements. Retention depends on the type of record, account activity, engagement history and any unresolved security, legal or dispute issue.
Our retention schedule is:
| Record | Retention approach |
| Active account and expert profile | Keep while the account remains active and the information is needed to provide the service. |
| Inactive accounts | Review after 24 months of inactivity and give 30 days’ notice before closing an account. |
| Removed or replaced résumés | Remove promptly from active use; any required retained copy is restricted from ordinary use. |
| Verified account-deletion requests | Target account closure and removal from ordinary application access within 30 days after verification, subject to applicable exceptions. |
| Engagement records | Retain the minimum necessary records for three years after closure, subject to applicable contract, tax and other legal requirements. |
| Security and audit records | Retain for one year, or longer where required by applicable law or a documented investigation or dispute. |
| Backups, when introduced | Use a 35-day rolling retention cycle. Reapply deletion records before restored data is returned to ordinary use. |
Removal from ordinary application access is different from permanent erasure of every copy. Where applicable law requires retention of personal information or processing records, we retain the required information with restricted access for the required period, even after account closure or résumé removal. Records subject to a legal obligation, investigation or dispute may be retained longer than the ordinary schedule, limited to what is necessary.
We do not promise that all copies will be erased within 30 days. When responding to a deletion request, we will explain relevant retention exceptions where permitted. At the end of the applicable retention period, information will be erased or irreversibly anonymized.
8. Your choices and privacy requests
You can edit available profile fields, change your discovery preference and remove your résumé through the application. You can also stop using Google sign-in or remove NESR's connection in your Google account settings. Removing that connection does not by itself delete your NESR account or existing NESR records.
Email support@nesregistry.com to request access to, correction of or deletion of your personal information, to withdraw consent where processing relies on consent, or to raise a privacy complaint. Use a subject such as “NESR privacy request” and describe your request. Where possible, contact us from the email address associated with your account. Do not send passwords, authenticator codes or identity documents unless we separately establish that specific information is necessary through an appropriate process.
We may need to verify your identity before acting. We will handle requests in accordance with applicable law and explain relevant limitations, including records needed for legal obligations or disputes. Withdrawing information necessary for a service may mean we cannot continue providing that service. Any statutory rights or complaint routes depend on the law applicable to your request.
9. Children
NESR accounts are available only to people aged 18 or older. You must confirm that you meet this requirement before creating an account. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact support@nesregistry.com so we can investigate and take appropriate action. Any service for children requires a separate assessment and appropriate safeguards before launch.
10. Changes and contact
We will update this policy when our practices change and display its effective date. Where required, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent for material changes.
